LEADING HOSPITAL in Harbor City is looking for a phlebotomist to join their team! Opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment with a leading healthcare network making up to $20-22/hr.!!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CPT License
- Ability to work any shit, any day of the week - schedule will be assigned monthly!
- 6 months of inpatient or outpatient blood draw experience

Job Description
- Draw blood from patients' fingers, heel, or vein, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood samples.
- Obtain the correct amount and type of specimen.
- Document all requests and release results of lab work accurately. Inform physicians of released lab results.
- Complete appropriate routing, handling, and processing of various medical specimens.
- Order, distribute and stock supplies as needed.
- Train and report on the work performance of other lab assistants.
- Expect to draw 9 patients per hour in an outpatient setting.
