Plc Programmer

Actalent is seeking a Controls Technician for a full-time position in Nashville, TN. This is a first shift role with a lot of room for growth.

Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for modifying PLC programs for automation equipment

·       Troubleshoot PLCs to decrease downtime

·       You will also be responsible for installing programs along with other Technicians.

·       Test the system efficiency

·       Help to get the equipment to communicate to each other

·       Work on capital projects to replace some existing equipment

·       Assisting maintenance department with preventative maintenance duties

·       Assisting engineering team with process improvement

Requirements:

·       Strong experience troubleshooting PLCs

·       Ability to modify/program PLCs is preferred

·       Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.

·       Experience in finding faults in the system.

·       Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
