Job Description
The Process Development Engineer is a member of the operational management team focused on the performance of the manufacturing process with respect to safety, quality, volume, and cost. The Process Engineer is oriented toward continuous improvement through process optimization and innovation. The Process Development Engineer is expected to demonstrate shop floor leadership while enhancing the professional image of the operational management team through appropriate actions and communication. This position reports directly to the Plant Superintendent.
Hard Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing
- 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- CAD and Maximo experience
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with a focus on safety, quality, volume, and cost
