Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Description
The NC Injectable Finished Products (IFP) facility is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. When you work at IFP, you'll join a global network of manufacturing professionals focused on several key, final production processes, including sterile formulation, filling, inspection, device assembly, and packaging. Accountabilities: - Coach and mentor peers, Engineering & Process Maintenance Technicians - Support technical development of Process Maintenance Technicians & Technical Area Specialists - Employ advanced cLEAN® tools within the main areas of problem-solving, project & change management - Lead cross-functional process improvements - Develop plans to improve the performance of a process or set of systems, using green belt concepts - Develop & manage project budget for improvements for a process or set of systems - Support event response activities - Support implementation of better practices & participate in sharing knowledge across all DFP sites for improvement projects - Maintain & establish standards for procedures & maintenance plans - Support global DFP collaboration initiatives
Hard Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, etc.)
- 5-8 years of experience in Manufacturing, process improvement experience
- Experience in owning/overseeing small projects, new equipment installs, trending activities, process improvement initiatives, and mentoring others
- Pharmaceutical experience
Soft Skills
- Strong communication ability
- Motivated and driven to solve problems independently
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Clayton, North Carolina.
Work Environment
Onsite role in a pharmaceutical manufacturing area. Specific group will be filling focused. There are two process experts on the team already, this individual will own a particular cartridge filling line.
