Job Description
This role combines the responsibilities of a production chemist and potentially some laboratory work. The successful candidate will operate as a floater, assisting across various tasks as needed. Responsibilities include making slurries by mixing chemicals like calcium phosphate, phosphoric acids, and calcium hydroxide, and facilitating small-scale reactions to turn these slurries into powder. The role also involves using kilns to create ceramics that mimic bone material, handling large screen sieves, pulverizing equipment, and conducting basic washing processes. Documentation of the entire process is crucial, with a strong emphasis on detail to prevent costly errors. Occasional testing may be required, although this is usually managed by the quality department.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in EAST TROY, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Work within the manufacturing area, handling chemical reactions. Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs daily and occasionally assisting in moving 100 lb drums. Standard work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility needed to work any 8-hour shift between 6 AM and 7 PM. The culture is very laid-back, with a focus on teamwork and flexibility in break times. The attire is casual, requiring closed-toed shoes but not steel-toed, along with jeans and a t-shirt.
