What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Architect position at Actalent?
We are seeking a skilled Project Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture. The ideal candidate will lead architectural projects
from conception through completion, ensuring that designs meet client specifications, regulatory standards, and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Lead the architectural design process, creating innovative and functional designs for commercial projects.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Client Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into architectural solutions.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior architects and technical staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Construction Oversight: Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with design specifications and building codes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into designs.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during the design and construction phases, including budget overruns and design modifications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in architectural practice, specifically in commercial projects.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other design tools, strong communication and leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of building codes and regulations.
