Description:
Actalent is currently seeking a Construction Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. This person will work with the project manager and project administrator to support ground up, commercial projects
The project is a ground up, Electrical Building #2 $150 million dollar project in Virginia Key, Miami, FL
Duties include:
-Assist in estimating change orders
-Prepare/ review submittals
-Assist in monitoring labor hours and material costs
-Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials
-Assist with billing applications, progress reports, scheduling, change order logs, follow up on pending changes and monitoring accounts receivable.
-Assist in review of contract drawings, detail drawings and specifications
-Assist in maintaining full compliance with Safety Program

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Must have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, with minimum of 3 years of experience in ground up, commercial construction.
- Industrial construction (water, waste water, plant, etc.) or similar experience is a plus
-Must have experience in vertical, ground up, commercial construction
- Advanced organizational, time management, and communication skills
-Must have strong work ethic and be results driven
