Job Title: Project Manager - Construction

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee large-scale projects in industrial, government/federal, distribution, and light manufacturing sectors. You will work on-site and in-office, managing various aspects of construction projects to ensure their successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage large-scale construction projects ranging from $5-50 million.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, commercial, and architectural/design teams.
• Spend 25-50% of the time on construction sites.
• Produce drawings or assist with drawings as needed.
• Mark up and create documents using Bluebeam; proficiency in Revit is a plus.
• Utilize Microsoft Office for project management tasks.
• Conduct site investigations using 360 cameras, distometers, force meters, etc.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Travel within the Midwest and Northeast regions for project needs.

Essential Skills

• Degree in Architecture, Construction, or Engineering.
• Experience as a Project Manager on large projects.
• Experience with industrial, commercial, government/federal, distribution, and light manufacturing projects.
• Proficiency in using mobile devices for communication and record-keeping.
• Ability to observe, report, take pictures, and create daily field reports.
• Understanding the scope of work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical fields.
• Experience in project coordination, inspection, and site development.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
• Ability to use Bluebeam for document markup and creation.

Work Environment

The role involves being on-site at the project in Munster, IN, most days, with visits to the Forest Park job site once a week. You will work in both office and construction site environments, ensuring project tasks are completed efficiently. The position requires the use of various technologies and equipment to perform site investigations and project management tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00
