What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Specialist position at Actalent?

Description:

The QA Specialist will be responsible for reviewing paper batch records, coordinating and executing investigations, supporting the quality teams in the manufacturing departments, and completing deviations and CAPAs. This person will be spending 60-70% of their time in the office working on batch records and investigations and the other 30-40% on the production floor. When there is an error found in documentation this person must close the gap with other departments to figure out what needs to be updated in the records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Sciences: Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, other life science degree

1-3 years of industry experience in QA/QC within a pharmaceutical environment - QA Associate

4 years of industry experience in QA/QC within a pharmaceutical environment - QA Specialist

Hours/Shift:

1st shift Monday-Friday

8am-4:30pm
