Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

This role is primarily lab-based, focusing on basic testing of raw materials and involving manual inspection of finished products on the production line. Approximately 70% of the time will be spent in the lab, with the remaining 30% in the plant. The industrial work environment requires effective communication with a variety of people and adaptability to less than pristine conditions. The role also involves participating in investigations by reviewing documentation, retesting product samples, or inspecting components as needed.

Hard Skills

• Basic lab tests (pH, specific gravity, viscosity, titrations)
• Batch adjustment calculations
• Packaging line inspections (fill weight, cap torque, labels, label placement, lot coding)
• Documentation of test and inspection results
• Production record maintenance
• Inspection of finished goods and received components
• Investigation of quality complaints and nonconformance's

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Work Environment

About 70% of the time is spent in the lab, and the remaining 30% is in the plant. The plant is not climate-controlled, while the lab is. The work schedule is from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday.
