What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Actalent?
Actalent is currently seeking lab technicians to assist with quality seed testing on incoming raw materials and finished products for a leading crop science company in Lubbock, TX.
Job Summary:
- Perform visual quality inspection on seed samples
- Perform basic laboratory tests- pH, viscosity, protein count, moisture testing, and titrations
- Perform warm and cool germination testing
- Perform purity analysis of seeds
- Perform seed counts
- Weighing seeds and cotton fibers
- Pay - $16hr
Hours:
7am-5:30pm and 5pm-3:30am (Rotating Shifts)
*Must be open and able to work any day of the week (Sunday-Saturday) - Will only be scheduled 50 hours/week
*Must be open to work 1st and 2nd shift
