Referral Coordinator - Family Practice

High volume clinic in Lynwood, CA is looking for a referral coordinator to join their front office team! This is an opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with EMR systems
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Referral experience (multiple types of referrals)
• HMO, PPO, EPO

Job Description:

• Expediting patient referrals to specialty offices.
• Completing referral requests as needed.
• Maintaining ongoing tracking and documentation on referrals.
• Ensuring complete and accurate patient registration.
• Providing clinical information to specialists.
• Coordinating with review organizations and insurance companies.
• Reviewing referral details with patients.
• Answer phone calls.
• Utilize Athena EMR system

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Downtown Los Angeles, California.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Work Environment

• You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with many Spanish-speaking patients.
