Description:
Registered Nurse, Triage practices nursing care to patients via the telephone utilizing the nursing process, and exercises judgment based on established protocols for medical/health care information in accordance with the standards defined by the California State Board of Nursing
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have a valid license in the State of California as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or dually certified in both AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support and AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support at time of hire is required.
- Minimum of two years general medical/surgical nursing experience augmented with pediatrics, critical care/emergency room experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Excellent assessment skills and crisis intervention skills.
- Strong computer skills.
Schedule: Full time Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Fridays 8am-12pm (36 hours/week) *Half days every Friday*
