What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revit Drafter position at Actalent?
Actalent Engineering is seeking a Drafter with Revit experience to support our engineering/construction initiatives.
Description:
- Main responsibility is designing production drawings primarily in Revit, working heavily with construction and design team.
- Most projects will be commercial but have taken on some warehouse projects throughout Iowa.
- Would be working under the supervision of a licensed architect, and working close with project managers from start to completion of projects.
- The drafter will have some interaction with clients but primarily communicate closely with internal staff.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Required to be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD is a plus as some of their clients prefer it.
- Come in first day with a generic understanding of site, structural, enclosure, interiors, and MEP and how they affect projects.
- Must be able to work closely in a team environment, while also being disciplined enough to work independently to complete design work without requiring constant assistance.
