Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in managing complex, multi-year infrastructure projects. This role demands hands-on leadership from project initiation through to closeout, overseeing 20–30 concurrent schedules and coordinating across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate should come from a strategic project management discipline with experience in enterprise systems and schedule integration, rather than construction management or general contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multi-year infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.
• Oversee 20-30 concurrent project schedules, ensuring seamless coordination across various disciplines.
• Integrate enterprise systems and schedules to optimize project execution.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to inform decision-making and project planning.
• Manage project schedules using advanced scheduling software.
• Develop and manage cost estimates and project budgets.
• Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders and team members.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in managing multi-year, multi-faceted projects.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other scheduling software.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in Reno or Las Vegas as required.

Work Environment

The work environment is within the Major Projects division, which has its own office space inside the NVE building, complete with offices, cubicles, and a small kitchen area. You will be part of a small, dynamic team of five in the Distribution Design team, which is continuously growing and building a legacy within NV Energy. The team culture is collaborative and supportive, fostering a great working atmosphere.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
