Job Description

We are actively seeking highly motivated Software Developer to support the development and sustainment of the the US Navy's most important defense system. This role is based in Huntsville, AL, and requires on-site work with no remote options available. As part of our team, you will work in a collaborative environment using agile software development methodology. Your tasks will include developing software maintenance and upgrade solutions for tactical systems, engaging in all activities associated with the software development lifecycle, and supporting all process requirements and reviews as necessary.

Hard Skills

• 2-4 years' experience in software development, maintenance, or support
• ABILITY TO OBTAIN A SECRET US CLEARANCE
• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or any related engineering degree
• Experience with Java, C , or Python
• Experience with Agile scaled principles
• Experience with Object Oriented design/development
• Experience working with Linux and UNIX environments
• Skills with IDEs such as Eclipse
• Familiarity with UML syntax
• Familiarity with driver-based and automated test environments
• Experience with Clearcase, JIRA, xUnit Framework, Junit, and CPPUnitLite
• Knowledge of CMMI Level 5 Life Cycle Processes and Procedures

Soft Skills

• Strong problem analysis skills
• Effective collaboration in team settings

This is a fully on-site position in Huntsville, Alabama.
