What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer position at Actalent?
Our client is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in the design, implementation, and integration of real-time embedded software Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Object-Oriented software design and C, C and/or strong working experience using Python
- Experience with real-time software development for real-time operating systems such as VxWorks and/or Linux or similar
- Experience working in docker containers.
- Familiarity wit agile software development, Atlassian tools and GIT
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant experience across the full life cycle including software systems architecture development, requirements definition and analysis, OO development, code and unit test, system integration and test
- Technical leadership experience in embedded software development for satellite/ground systems
- Experience as software reliability engineer or software test engineer
- Experience working with DevOps and Computer Networking
