Job Title: Sr. Chemist

Job Description

We are seeking a Scientist to provide critical support within the Method Transfer and Development Group at a major biopharmaceutical company. This facility, known for its flexible, multi-product manufacturing capabilities, focuses on vaccines intermediates, drug substance, and gene therapy drug products. As a Scientist, you will work on transferring new methods for vaccine and monoclonal antibody intermediates to the site.

Responsibilities

• Transfer new methods for vaccine and monoclonal antibody intermediates to the site.
• Perform chemistry assays independently in a pharmaceutical lab setting.
• Engage in assay development and validation.
• Write and execute protocols for method validation.
• Support the exciting new drug product intermediates in the cancer drug pipeline.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of experience with chemistry assays in a pharmaceutical lab (wet chemistry).
• Proficiency in HPLC, UV, and pH measurements.
• At least 5 years in a GMP Pharma environment.
• Experience with assay development and validation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience in method validation, method transfer, and method development.

Work Environment

This position is with a large pharmaceutical manufacturing organization focused on vaccine and gene therapy manufacturing. You will be part of a team of 5 people working on a high-profile project. The role follows a 1st Shift schedule, Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional weekend work, though it is not likely.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
