What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Candidates will go thorugh a training/mentorship program. Throughout and after training, engineers will:
- Manage projects from start to finish including project set-up, calucalations, coordination with internal team and external clients to ensure calculations and drawings match, and are code compliant
- Design components of the building envelope using autoCAD and Revit ie. curtain wall, sun shades, railings, etc.
- Develop design loads and complete structural analysis
- Provide complete calculation packages for review and stamping
- Communicate schedules, questions, and issues with clients
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural
- Experience with CAD software
Preferred:
- Experience with calculation software
- Experience with structural modeling software
