Job description:
We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Pensacola. This role will support heavy industrial projects such as power plants, concrete companies, refineries, and recycling plants. You will be involved in a range of projects, including electrostatic precipitators, baghouses, boiler buildings, air handling equipment, industrial size mechanical components, stiffened plate work, steel support structures, conveyors, and large-scale duct work. Your duties will encompass conception, structural analysis, finite element analysis, structural design, site visits for field measurements, quality control of fabrication and erection, and providing solutions to problems discovered in the field.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Structural Engineering experience
- 3 years of heavy industrial structure experience (power plants, paper mills, refineries, etc.)
- PE License required
- Finite Element Analysis experience required
- Basic AutoCAD skills
- RISA experience
