Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Superintendent to join our team for local federal projects at either Oceana, Little Creek, or Naval Station Norfolk. We have multiple projects ranging from $1M to $10M kicking off simultaneously. We are looking for long-term candidates with at least 5 years of experience as a superintendent. The Superintendent will assist the project manager, vendors, subcontractors, and management to determine the necessary manpower, materials, and equipment. The Site Superintendent will act as the direct liaison with the Government Contracting Official and direct the daily activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements. The role involves ensuring the construction schedule and budget are adhered to.

Hard Skills

• Experience as a superintendent on DoD projects
• Experience in new construction, ground-up, and renovations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent
• First aid and safety certifications
• OSHA 30 certification
• Project development and implementation of design-build construction

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Norfolk, Virginia.

Work Environment

On-site, 7am-3:30pm with overtime. Company vehicle or vehicle allowance with gas card provided. Majority of work is outside with some time spent in a remote or main office. Normal site working attire, including hard hat, is required.
