Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Actalent. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
- Supervise and provide leadership to construction crews
- Monitor progress and quality of workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other project team members
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience working as a Superintendent in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
Salary Range:
$110,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience
