Job Title: Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of large warehouse projects around the KC metro area. The projects typically range around $30 million and are all local. The Superintendent will coordinate and manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. This role requires effective collaboration with project teams, including owners, architects, project managers, field personnel, and office departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all on-site activities.
• Work with project teams, including the Owner, Architect, Project Managers, Field Personnel, and other office departments.
• Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
• Ensure site safety and manage compliance with established company safety policies.
• Budget, forecast, and manage field personnel, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerations.
• Review and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data.
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
• Manage the overall project and 3-week look ahead schedules, including creating and updating the master schedule weekly.
• Generate Requests for Information (RI's) to ensure project document completeness and clarify discrepancies.
• Review submittals for compliance with project manual, plans, manufacturer's recommendations, and applicable standards.
• Manage the company's quality control program for the project.
• Conduct reconstruction planning.
• Conduct on-site project meetings with subcontractors and lead personnel from construction trades.
• Manage subcontractors for all on-site work.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Procore or similar Construction Management (CM) software.
• Proficiency in commercial construction processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have significant experience as a lead superintendent.
• At least 2 completed warehouse or industrial projects as a lead superintendent.
• Experience with CRM software.

The Superintendent will use technologies such as Procore and Microsoft Excel to facilitate project management tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00
