Job Title: Survey Crew Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our survey crew. This role involves daily coordination with field coordinators, project managers, and other office staff. You will be responsible for supervising all members of the survey crew and working independently as a one-person crew when required. The job includes daily uploading and downloading of data collectors, charging of survey instrumentation, and advancing your knowledge with the latest technology and equipment. You will assist the Party Chief in carrying survey equipment and supplies to job sites, clearing vegetation that obstructs the line of sight, and collecting survey data. Hard Skills

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience running a crew using robotic total stations and GPS
• Proficiency with Trimble or other survey equipment (GPS, Robotics, Total Stations, Levels, and Data Collectors)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred, not required)
• Experience with Total station and MicroStation (preferred, not required)

Work Environment

Reporting to the Party Chief/Field Coordinator, this position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be paid for 40 hours a week, even during inclement weather when you will be in the office assisting with tasks and learning CAD.
