What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Instrument Operator position at Actalent?
Local Engineering firm is looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to work as an Instrument Operator and / or Crew Chief. Individual will be working out of Durham office and the role will be local to the triangle with limited travel throughout the region. This is a great opportunity to join an emerging team and growing Civil Survey firm.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Surveying Experience (1 Years)
- Instrument Operating in Teams of 2 or 3
- Topcon, GIS, Trimble Equipment Technology
- SIT or PLS in NC or pursuing is a bonus(not required)
- -Comfortable/OK working in the field and elements (e.g. cold/hot/rain/snow etc.)
- Looking for a career within Land Surveying profession is preferred versus individuals looking for a "job"
