Job Title: Test Analysis Engineer

Job Description

This role involves supporting testing for NASA rocket engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in rocket engine testing, both hardware and software, with a focus on test plans and defining test requirements. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to own multiple parts of a project and contribute to a growing engineering services and testing company.

Responsibilities

• Support testing for NASA rocket engines.
• Define test requirements and develop test plans.
• Conduct hardware and software testing and validation.
• Perform model analysis and structural analysis using tools like Nastran.
• Update and maintain current software with provided training.
• Engage in mechanical system testing and have exposure to fluid dynamics and propulsion.
• Work cross-functionally throughout hardware and software test cycles.
• Contribute to full life-cycle testing from a small to medium-sized company perspective.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with rocket engine testing on hardware and software.
• Experience with test plans, test methods, and test article documentation.
• Basic knowledge and ability with C and Unix/Linux systems.
• Model analysis experience.
• Software and hardware test experience.
• Experience with hardware design and test equipment.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux distributions like Fedora and RedHat.
• Mechanical system experience and fluid dynamics/propulsion knowledge are preferred.
• Programming, networking, and development experience.
• Client-facing and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
