What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
We are looking for a software verification engineer who can plan and develop test strategies that help ensure development implementation meets requirements of our products. Our team is working on next generation of an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch). This person needs to be familiar working with high voltage power, motor manage, and should be comfortable working with both software and hardware.
Must have:
o Extensive Python Experience
o Motivated/Self-driven
Should have:
o Python test framework experience (PyTest, RobotFramework, etc.)
o Electronics or Software Test/QA experience
o Interface with external (test) equipment (not just PC or app development)
Nice to have:
o Motor management experience
o Electrical engineering experience (power systems etc.)
o Experience with Typhoon HIL
