What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician position at Actalent?
Engineering manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join their growing hands on team! Ideal candidate will have a strong background with PLC and motor systems.
- Program PLCs and motor drives to commission panels for installation on mechanical assemblies.
- Wire in sub-assemblies (burners, blower motors, valves, etc.) to electrical control panel and test operations, while troubleshooting issues that come up.
- Once panels are operating correctly, video operational checks of the system and upload the video to the network.
- Provide feedback to panel assembly and engineering about the accuracy of their work for continuous improvement of the overall process.
- Document specifications of the tested systems on appropriate paperwork.
- Support panel assembly when needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years as a Test Technician
- Prior experience with hands on tooling's and systems
- Understanding of engineering manufacturing
