Material Handler
Job Summary:
FOUR DAY WORK WEEK!! Monday - Thursday!!
- Handling of materials within the various departments, as assigned.
- Work in receiving departments to unload trucks.
- Count, weigh, transport pile materials in storage areas.
- Ensure delivery of materials to production departments as in accordance with production schedules.
- Handle transport finished products and parts to shipping departments, load shipments on carrier trucks.
- Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately in computer system.
- Ensure that any computerized or automated systems are accurate and up to date.
- Produce informational reports when necessary.
- Act as back up to Warehouse Leader when necessary.
- Handle material directly related to production operations, such as lifting and carrying trays to work stations, etc.
- Operate hand trucks and fork lift.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
- At least two years prior training or experience in a similar environment required.
- Fork lift license preferred.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and physical.
- Back ground clearance run upon hire.
