What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roving General Manager position at Action Property Management?
If you are the type of HOA Manager who thrives on change, making fast and impactful changes but hates being "tied down" permanently to one association, then we'd like to share this exciting new opportunity with you.
As a Roving General Manager, you'll be our "go to" manager to cover and manage associations when needed. This commitment requires the ability to travel 80% or more of the time, sometimes in other cities (outside of your home base) for 30-60-90 days. We cover the cost of travel and housing when that happens, but you'll need the flexibility to be wherever the need arises. We only manage associations in California, so your travel will be limited to inside the state.
Job Qualifications/Skills
We are looking for someone with rock-solid high-rise HOA management experience(Must have HOA management experience. Rental apartment management does not qualify) who finds working in a fast-paced environment exciting and enjoys the challenges of steering the ship during times of transition and change. Coverage for associations would also include portfolio management as needed, but managing high rises is your first priority.

- CMCA or CCAM certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Extensive travel within California as needed. Must be willing to travel outside of your home base market for a period of 30 days to 6 months
