RN - Travel

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to inmates/patients in a correctional facility setting.
• Assess health status, develop nursing care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor inmates' health conditions and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Provide health education to inmates on various health topics.

Essential Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado.
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Desired Experience

• Prior experience in correctional nursing or a similar healthcare setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Experience in managing chronic medical conditions and providing preventive care.

• Hourly compensation from 50/hr DOE (local, speak with our recruiters for travel requirements and rates)
