Job Title: R&D Coordinator – Regulatory
Purpose: Establish and maintain global regulatory registrations and listings, ensure all products and associated documents follow applicable regulations by conducting independent and continual reviews of cosmetic regulatory changes under the guidance of the Director of R&D. Update product literature as it pertains to changing regulations in a timely fashion to ensure material compliance with changing regulations. Manage Master Product Folder (MPF) paperwork generation and filing system with the goal of supporting the R&D department and company with documentation updates, customer coding packets, regulatory inquiries, and applicable registrations.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Coordinate and research global regulatory databases to ensure product compliance.
- Provide comprehensive regulatory summaries for raw materials, existing, and new products.
- Communicate with raw suppliers as needed to compile and organize relevant documentation for global compliance and product registrations.
- Assist with third party compliance submissions such as, but not limited to, Sedex, MoCRA, INCI, CAS #, Cosmos/ECOCERT, EcoVadis, and NMPA/CSAR
- Continually update paperwork when new INCI names are assigned, CAS #s change, etc...
- Complete coding packets per customer requests and under the guidance of the Director of R&D with minimal follow-ups required.
- Ensure that all paperwork is up-to-date and filed correctly in the MPF.
- Create new paperwork requested by R&D, customer service, sales, or marketing.
Position Requirements:
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Life Sciences. Chemistry or Biology preferred.
- At least 1 – 2 years of relevant experience with Regulatory, Business Administration, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, computer, and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
