Overview
Works as part of the team responsible for managing and coordinating the operational activities of Active International’s media and sales departments. Responsible for updating, reporting, and analyzing the financial activity of certain revenue producing groups. Provides support to the Sales Operations team and helps to identify needs and implement solutions for process improvements throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Assists in establishment of annual departmental budgets that reflect the strategic objectives and operating policies with regard to certain revenue producing groups within the media division to enhance profitability, growth of client as well as leverage improvements.Support the bi-weekly financial reporting process for 2-3 revenue producing departments:Compile updated financial information: participate in bi-weekly meetings with Media leaders and review prospect forecasts with Sales leadsUpload the financial changes to the budget application (IPA) and Salesforce to be reviewed by executive managementProvide reporting and analysis on key performance indicators to the team leads and executive managementDerive insights from the data that help support Active’s strategic goals, providing observations to the Media Management team.Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of data required for proper revenue reporting:Serve as a subject matter expert for our clients’ internal accounting treatmentsReview data to ensure the proper utilization of trade deals and that internal buy processes are followed Manage the adjustment database, for internal revenue and/or cost adjustmentsMaintain IPA interfaces to properly reflect all revenue attributesLiaise with Accounting Department to direct, review and confirm monthly-end close figures for the respective departments. Propose adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy.Provide operational support to the Active Sales and Merchandise Sales teams:Troubleshoot user systems inquiries and provide resolution where possible. Assist with creating new deal P&Ls, and coordinate efforts with systems personnel to resolve escalated issues and ensure that all user requirements are met.Research sales tools at the request of Sales Management. Provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations based on these findings.Maintain reports for the President of Sales Operations, including pipeline, prospect, sales cycle, and merchandise sales reporting. Liaise with the Sales and Merchandise Sales teams to secure updated information as applicable. Develop processes and reports to ensure the accuracy and completeness of relevant data sets.Provide support and expertise to corporate initiatives as neededCreate, generate, and analyze reporting to stakeholders as needed

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a business focus, or equivalent experience, is requiredMinimum requirement of 1-3 years of experience in a related fieldIntermediate Excel skills are requiredCRM software knowledge is preferredIBM Planning Analytics knowledge/training is preferred
Tableau (or a comparable visualization tool) knowledge/training is a plus
