We are looking for a reliable Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing practice. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working in a fast paced environment. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The Chiropractic Assistant ensures smooth running of our company’s office and contributes in driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

- Assist chiropractor with patient care and treatment

- Greet and check-in patients, collect necessary paperwork

- Maintain and update patient records using Eclipse

- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member

- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a chiropractic or medical office is preferred

- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using phone systems and handling patient inquiries

Please note that this position does not require any clinical or chiropractic training. It is primarily an administrative role supporting the chiropractor in providing quality care to patients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 27 per week

Healthcare setting:

  • Clinic
  • Private practice

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
