Waste Treatment Operator

Location : Miami, FL

Hours : Mon-Fri, 5am-1 : 30pm

Job Summary :

Operates a standard waste water treatment system.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Operates / monitors waste treatment systems : - Check ph levels in all of the tanks

Check flow rates

• Fills chemical tanks as needed
• Keep the platform clean on the system.
• Check for oil and air leaks.

Forklift operator- Transport sludge from both systems in the dryer room.

Responsible for shoveling hoppers at the vibratory system and clean the floors and under the platform.

• Keep all three areas clean of empty close top drums, open barrels, and water from the tool room.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications :

• No prior experience or training is necessary, although some education and experience is preferred.
• Position may be learned on the job.
• Forklift certification (must be achieved within the first 3 months of employment).

Training :

• Training is not limited to, but may include the following : hazardous waste training, handling hazardous spills training.
