They will play a key role in month end close and in monitoring accuracy and completeness of various financial records of the Agency. Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work
- This is a full-time position on site. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours may range from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
- Maintains the general ledger
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset tracking system and depreciation schedules
- Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks
- Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
- Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements
- Maintains the general ledger
- Perform related work as required/assigned
- Occasional travel between ACTS facilities, banks and direct service locations should be expected
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Three (3) years of professional experience in accounting or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with solid Excel skills
- Ability to pass Level II Background Screening
