Job Description: Part-Time Associate Acupuncturist
Position DetailsWe are looking for a part-time Associate Acupuncturist.
Employee agrees to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Provide acupuncture treatments to patients using TCM and 5 Element acupuncture theories
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Incorporate Chinese nutritional therapy into patient care as appropriate.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment.
- Provide constructive feedback without judgment and adapt to changes based on constructive criticism.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of practice.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using Clean Needle Technique to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and other complementary therapies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments provided.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture practices and techniques.
Work Schedule: Working evening shift - 2:30pm - 6:30pm. One weekend day is optional, and at least 2 weeknights are required, with hours ending at 7:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. at the latest. The part-time role offers the opportunity to treat up to 40 patients per week, working 15-18 hours per week.
- Pay: $75 per hour
- Estimated earnings: Up to $1,000 per week (based on 40 patients at $75/hour, 3 patients per hour).
- Focus: We specialize in gut health and the microbiome, though we welcome patients with other chronic conditions, and we see patients with all types of pain, autoimmune disorders, fertility issues, and mental health concerns. Your interest in digestive health will make you an excellent fit here.

You have graduated from an accredited school with at least a Masters in Acupuncture and are licensed (or can easily become licensed) to practice acupuncture in Maryland.
