AcuTech Consulting Group is growing rapidly and seeking highly qualified and motivated Process Safety Engineering Consultants & Managers with experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical Industry for work within the United States to help fuel our growth. Candidates will join a highly respected team of industry leading Process Safety Management experts on challenging projects for many of the world's largest corporations.
What You'll Do :
As part of AcuTech's US PSM team, you will work directly with our clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen, be self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects. Initial work assignments will be on site performing process safety engineering work, comprised of facilitating PHA's, incident investigations, MOC, and various other process safety management needs.
Position Requirements :
- Minimum 10 years of experience required in the Oil & Gas industry (or Chemical / Petrochemical); ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills; self-motivated, independent, organized, able work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development.
- A Bachelors or Masters Degree in a related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety)
- Relevant experience in process safety management, experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and / or consulting environment.
- Ability to develop a consulting business, including but not limited to developing proposals and making presentations
- Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.
- Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs
- Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures
- Experience developing and evaluating / auditing PSM management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellence.
