Maintenance Controller

ACET is seeking a Maintenance Controller at our California, MD (Pax River Naval Base) location. 

This role provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of aircraft and assists the Site Manager with daily operations to meet contract requirements.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in the aviation maintenance field. 
• At least 4 years' experience in a management/supervisory position.
• Minimum of 2 years' Maintenance Controller experience with documented "Safe for Flight" authority.  
• Previous completion of Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management for Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activities (OOMA) course (C-555-0053) or both the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management course (D or E-555-0040) and the Naval Aviation Officer and Senior Supervisor NALCOMIS OOMA Familiarization course (D or E-555-0054).
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance programs (OOMA)
• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Completion of C-555-0059 Configuration Management for Organizational and Intermediate Activities preferred
• AM and PM shifts available.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds. 
• Must be able to pass fit for work physical and/or drug test as required.
• Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, to include working overhead.
• Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flightline.
• Must be able to man and perform Flightline Extinguisher duties.
• If required must be able to pass a DOT physical and operate Powered Industrial Trucks.
• If required must be able to pass a respiratory physical and wear a respirator for 2 - 4 hours.
• If required must be able to perform confined space activities.
• Travel may be required.
