RN Position Summary
A Registered Nurse is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help provide patient care. The duties of a RN may vary, but generally include the following:
· Manage the nursing care for all residents and delegate shift tasks to nurses.
· Supervise nurse aides as they complete their assignments.
· Observe residents’ conditions, oversee, and respond as necessary.
· Inform physicians of any changes in resident conditions.
· Communicate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team about care plan changes.
· Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
RN Requirements
· Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state
· Current CPR/BLS Certification
