Location: Adara Living
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activity Director to join our team at our Adara Living. The Activity Director will be responsible for planning and implementing activities for our residents that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program for our residents, including recreational, educational, and social activities
Plan and organize special events and outings for our residents
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity outcomes
Communicate with residents and their families to ensure that their activity preferences are met
Supervise and train activity staff and volunteers
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that activities are aligned with the overall care plan for each resident
Follow and enforce safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or a related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Activity Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to resident activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
