Role: Integration Architect/Lead
Location: Hartford, CT (Dayone Onsite)
Type of Employment: Contract
Role Description:
- 12–15 years of overall experience with at least 5 years focused on integration architecture and engineering for large-scale solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong hands-on development with IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute, robust error handling, and performance tuning.
- API design and management: REST/JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, full API lifecycle management, and backward-compatibility strategies.
- Java microservices using Spring Boot.
- Database skills: MongoDB (schema design, indexing, basic sharding) and solid RDBMS fundamentals.
- Cloud-native design and deployment on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, including use of PaaS services, containers, AKS/GKE, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Protocols and formats: HTTPS, TLS, JSON/XML, SOAP, JWT/JWKS.
- Integration patterns: synchronous/asynchronous messaging, publish–subscribe, saga/compensation patterns.
