Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 12-15 years of experience and deep domain expertise in telecom settlements and billing systems. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex scenarios, optimizing settlement processes, and bridging the gap between business and technology teams. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of telecom billing frameworks.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for telecom billing and settlement processes, ensuring domain accuracy and relevance.
- Analyze business requirements related to billing, interconnect agreements, and financial settlements.
- Translate complex telecom scenarios into clear business and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including product owners, developers, and QA to ensure solution alignment.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and root cause investigations for reconciliation discrepancies.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and walkthroughs to gather and validate requirements.
- Provide domain training and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Comp. Sc, Telecommunications, , or related field.
- 12 years of experience in business analysis or SME roles, with a strong focus on telecom billing and settlements.
- In depth understanding of telecom billing systems, rating, mediation, and settlement processes.
- Proven ability to articulate complex business scenarios and logic to diverse audiences.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
