Duties
- Provide expert product knowledge on tobacco items, accessories, and related merchandise to assist customers in making informed choices
- Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are visually appealing and accessible
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and stocktaking to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Offer friendly phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or placing special orders
- Promote responsible tobacco use by adhering to age verification laws and store policies
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Familiarity with POS systems
