ADDIUM, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Shipping Clerk I or II, to support its Shipping department, at its headquarters in Pullman, Washington.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50/hr - depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team in the Shipping Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate unwavering focus and commitment throughout an 8-hour shift, fostering a positive and harmonious work environment. They should take pride in consistently achieving daily individual and team goals. This individual will be expected to become competent in the packaging process within 1-2 weeks and completely proficient and independent within 1 month.
Responsibilities:
The Shipping Clerk examines sales orders, prepares orders for shipment, stocks shipping supplies, tracks orders, and keeps records of outgoing shipments.
- Packs, examines, and routes outgoing shipments.
- Operates lift trucks, hand trucks, and fork lift to convey, move, or hoist items to proper areas.
- Makes arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on orders.
- Maintains an adequate supply of shipping materials in inventory on hand at all times.
- Maintains the work area/equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs all computer functions necessary to track shipments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 months - 2 years of experience or proficiency.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Self-Motivated.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation.
- Complete a criminal background check within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous shipping or manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Proven experience identifying process improvements.
- Forklift experience and certification.
