As a Scanner Operator and under direct supervision, you will be responsible for prepping, scanning, indexing and reviewing documents that are being formatted into digital format for external customers. Ensuring documents being imaged are prepared for scanning properly, in the correct order and match the folder identification. Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities are essential, with the ability to work under strict deadlines. This includes quality control monitoring and image evaluation, before and after scanning, to ensure documents are imaged accurately accordingly to customer contract requirements. Will be responsible for tracking and compiling statistical information to monitor total number of documents scanned, verifying files against provided indexes and ensuring files are returned to their original state. Performs, maintains and completes, in accordance with established procedures, all documentation and performs other administrative duties. Must have the ability to learn basic equipment operation and maintenance skills, to include the prescribed cleaning of the scanner, minor feeder adjustments and consumable parts replacement. Experience working in a high production imaging environment a plus.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have keyboard skills at 45-60 wpm with a high level of accuracy and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.
Other Requirements: Must be pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a valid NM driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance and Proof of Covid Vaccination. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. May be required to work outside of the normal work schedule to meet requirements of contracts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. stand, walk, bend, reach above shoulder(s), balance, push/pull, carry occasionally.
