RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Adelante Mujeres Empresas team, the Empresas Access to Capital Specialist supports aspiring and existing Latine small business owners with bilingual customized coaching, technical assistance, training, access to capital, networking opportunities and other resources. The Empresas Access to Capital Specialist coordinates all aspects of the Individual Development Account Savings program and other specialty access to capital resources. The Specialist will also support all aspects of the Empresas Business Course and Specialty Workshops. The Empresas Access to Capital Specialist reports to the Empresas Program Manager.
- Provide technical assistance, one on one coaching, and support to Latine businesses in urban or rural area with all aspects of business growth.
- Research and develop small business support services as a foundation for the business coaching service, including start-up support, communication assistance, access to capital, marketing, and sustainability training.
- Coordinate Individual Development Account Program for Adelante Mujeres.
- Assist business owners with access to capital via Kiva Zip Crowdfunding and different programs for capital access including technical assistance on setting up profiles, marketing, and budgeting.
- Support the delivery of the Empresas Small Business Course by coordinating logistics and leading recruitment efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- A passionate commitment to the goals and mission of Adelante Mujeres and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
- 3 years of experience supporting BIPOC communities
- An undergraduate degree or comparable experience in business management, entrepreneurship, marketing, or related field.
- Experience in finance or accounting and customer service.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish- strong written and oral skills; culturally proficient.
- Experience using online technology platforms such as MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Zoom, Facebook, Canva, and Google Hangouts
- Passionate about entrepreneurship, education, social justice, diversity, women's empowerment, and the environment.
Additional Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required except for religious or medical accommodation

- Must have reliable transportation to and from office premises and activity locations.
- Ability to work some evenings and travel out of town to attend workshops or trainings
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $52K - $55K depending on qualifications
- Classification Full-time, exempt
- Telework: up to 2 days a week
