Case Manager – Jeanette, PA
Adelphoi Village has a unique opportunity for a qualified professional interested in family and youth counseling in a foster care setting in Jeanette. This full time opportunity supports a single home that will have a dedicated foster parent temporarily caring for sibling groups in need of long-term foster care placement.
What will the job be like?
You will be responsible for delivering case management services for up to six youth in residence with an on-site office in the home located in Jeannette pa .You will need to build relationships and set boundaries in collaboration with the foster parent in residence, the children under care, the concerned family, child services and court related authorities. You will be required to manage a normal Monday through Friday schedule with some flexibility around school and youth needs and may require evenings and weekends ocassionally .
What will qualify you for the opportunity?
We seek someone who has a minimum of 1-3 years of youth and/or family counseling and at least a four-year undergraduate degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, or other similarly related behavioral disciplines. The ability to demonstrate strong 1:1 and small group communication skills, the capability to organize and adhere to work schedules and to be seen as a reliable resource for the children and foster parent will be essential. Knowledge of the foster care system and associated regulations will be helpful.
