The CNC Foreman will be a member of our Production team. Under the responsibility of the Production Manager. The CNC Foreman will be responsible for supervising and assigning CNC Operators tasks based on production needs as well as training purposes.
Oversee of all CNC functions, material movement and maintenance of CNC machinery
- Participate in the development of new procedures, techniques and equipment related to CNC Operation, when required.
- Periodically check the storage of cnc consumable (studs, wires, electrodes, fluxes, etc.)
- Provide new-employee orientations and inform, train and promote safe work methods and environment
- Provide refresher training on cnc programs and techniques to correct deficiencies as they arise
- Any other related duties as assigned
- Supervise and review the work of cnc operators by ensuring that cnc operational procedures are followed and quality is maintained
- Establish open lines of communication across organizational departments to ensure knowledge of all ongoing project expectations
- Make sure cnc procedures are updated/followed and ensure that cnc procedures are available for each case encountered on the fabrication and factory plans
- Coordinate with HR Department regarding employee appraisals, discipline, and annual performance reviews
- Investigates all incidents which occurred in your section and complete appropriate reports
- Work safely at all time and apply the OSHA and corporate safety standards where applicable
- Responsible for time keeping of group
