Construction Superintendent
The Role:
As a Construction Superintendent, you will provide overall leadership and supervision to all on-site activities, ensure that work is completed according to a project’s planned schedule and provide top-notch quality control.
Location: District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive study of the drawings specifications, subcontracts, submittals, shop drawings, building rules and regulations and site conditions.
- Complete understanding of all required permit and inspection procedures and timeframes.
- Oversee all architectural and engineering layouts. Promptly identify potential conflicts above and below ceilings as well as inside and outside of the project.
- Scheduling. Hold regular meetings with Foremen. Produce Three-Week look-ahead schedules, coordinate material deliveries and inspections.
- Maintain Safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager and ADI Team members.
- Maintain Jobsite Cleanliness, Quality Control, Daily Reports, As-Built Drawings.
- Provide problem-solving - means and methods.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience required
- Proficient in Windows operating systems and associated software
- Experience working on smartphones and tablets
- Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
